Cookie Policy

Detailed explanation of how our web applications use cookies and browser storage.

1. What are Cookies & Local Storage?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. In addition to cookies, modern web browsers use LocalStorage and SessionStorage to store preferences locally. These data structures help websites recognize your preferences and keep widgets functioning.

2. How We Use Browser Storage

Bank Balance Check values your absolute privacy. Unlike standard websites, we do not save your personal records on remote databases. Instead, our web tools utilize your browser's local sandbox to save items:

  • Bookmarked Banks: When you mark an Indian bank branch as a favorite in our IFSC or SWIFT finder, we save the details inside your local browser storage so they load instantly next time.
  • Calculation Logs: Saved logs from our financial calculators (such as Home Loan EMI tables, SIP schedules) are held strictly in your browser storage.

This data remains on your physical device. Cleared browser histories or cookie deletions will wipe this data permanently.

3. Third-Party Service Cookies

To analyze traffic patterns and maintain server integrity, we employ third-party tools which may set tracking cookies:

  • Google Analytics (gtag.js): Used to measure anonymised site traffic (e.g., page views, session durations, region statistics). This helps us evaluate app load speeds and plan optimization.
  • Google AdSense: Serves personalized and non-personalized advertisements. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit history across the web.

4. Managing & Disabling Cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. To opt-out of Google's personalized advertising, you can adjust settings in the Google Ads Settings page.

Please note that disabling local storage may cause saved bookmarks, calculator settings, and favorite bank entries to reset every time you close the tab.

5. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify this Cookie Policy at any time. Any changes become effective immediately when published. Your continued use of the website represents acceptance of this policy.
