In India, all commercial banks (public, private, and co-operative sector banks) follow standard rules established by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regarding weekend operations:

Q: What happens if a month has five Saturdays?

If a month has five Saturdays, the 5th Saturday is a working day for all banks. Only the 2nd and 4th Saturdays are holiday closures.
