Income Proof
Salary slips, bank account statement showing salary credit, or form 16/ITR copies are strictly required.
How Your Credit Score (CIBIL) Affects Card Approvals
A credit card is a revolving credit line. Since it is unsecured credit, banks rely heavily on your CIBIL Score (provided by TransUnion CIBIL or other bureaus like Experian or Equifax) to judge your repayment track record.
Credit Score Ranges:
- 750 or above (Excellent): Instant approvals, high credit limits, and access to premium cards with waivers and reward bonuses.
- 700 to 749 (Good): Strong approval rate. You qualify for most mid-tier rewards and cashback shopping cards.
- 650 to 699 (Fair): Moderate approval rates. You will likely qualify for basic co-branded cards or entry-level cards.
- Below 600 (Poor): Direct applications for standard cards are likely to be rejected. Rejections further lower your credit score. If in this range, we suggest booking a Secured Credit Card backed by a Fixed Deposit.
