How Our Data is Sourced & Verified
All bank information listed on our platform — including missed call numbers, SMS banking codes, customer care helpline numbers, and official website URLs — is sourced from publicly available official bank communications, RBI publications, and the banks' own official websites and press releases.
IFSC and MICR code data is sourced from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) public database, which is the authoritative source for all bank branch codes in India. We periodically update this data to reflect the latest changes, including new branch openings, branch mergers, and code changes following bank amalgamations.
While we strive to maintain accuracy, banking details such as customer care numbers and SMS formats can change without notice. We strongly recommend verifying critical information — especially account numbers, transfer details, and contact numbers — directly with your bank's official website or customer care before use.
Our financial calculators use standard, industry-accepted mathematical formulas for calculations. EMI is computed using the standard reducing balance formula. SIP returns use compound interest with monthly compounding. FD and RD calculations follow RBI-prescribed compounding norms. All calculator results are indicative estimates and should not be treated as financial advice.
